I am a Science Education Specialist for the Mathematics Department, working with Skylight. I work with faculty, staff, and teaching assistants to develop curriculum and to support and train educators. Current work includes expanding the computational curriculum in mathematics courses, evaluation of mathematics courses, and lowering the barrier for instructors to innovate in the classroom.

I finished my PhD in 2025 in Mathematical Biology at The University of British Columbia, working with Eric Cytrynbaum. I earned my MS from UBC as well, and gradtuated with my BS from Bucknell University. I study mathematical models of physiological systems, and I enjoy sharing my passion for mathematics through teaching. When I’m not thinking about math or teaching, I’m reading, swimming or painting.
