Research

UBC’s Department of Mathematics is one of Canada’s best, with a strong international reputation and links around the world. The Department’s research activities take place in a number of loosely affiliated research groups, which collaborate not only in research, but also in graduate and postdoctoral supervision and sponsorship. Most groups run their own weekly seminar series.
