Meet the Team (2021-22)

Our Goals

  • To increase representation in our department (at all levels) from equity-deserving groups who have been historically, persistently, or systemically marginalized.
  • To ensure that members of these groups feel welcome and valued in our department community.
  • To remove obstacles, stress, and disempowerment as much as possible for everyone.
  • To improve the department environment for everybody, by providing the most benefits to those with the most negative experiences (typically equity-deserving groups).
  • To carry out thoughtful and specific administrative processes, that are recorded and followed dependably, which benefit everyone (and thus benefit equity-deserving groups the most).
  • To increase transparency and accessibility of information and resources, thereby promoting fairness, supporting inclusion, and ensuring that all voices are being heard.
