Joel Feldman

Emeritus

Joel Feldman obtained a PhD in Physics from Harvard University, and then held a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Harvard, followed by a Moore Instructorship at M.I.T.. He is currently an Emeritus Professor at UBC Mathematics.

His research interests include Many-body Theory and Quantum Field Theory.

Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, John L. Synge Award (Royal Society of Canada), Jeffery–Williams Prize (Canadian Mathematical Society), CRM–Fields–PIMS Prize, CAP–CRM Prize in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, UBC Killam Teaching Prize, Fields Institute Fellow, Jacob Biely Faculty Research Prize, Fellow of the Canadian Mathematical Society.
