Abstract: 

The generalized Ricci Flow is an extension of the Ricci Flow equation which naturally incorporates torsion, arising from independent considerations in complex geometry, mathematical physics, and generalized geometry.  In this talk I will describe some recent progress in this area, focusing on recent global existence and convergence results for pluriclosed flow in joint work with J. Jordan and M. Garcia-Fernandez.
