UBC Mathematics is pleased to welcome Kasia Jankiewicz as an Assistant Professor. 

Kasia joins UBC Mathematics following four years as an assistant professor at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She earned her PhD from McGill University in 2018. Her current research explores geometric group theory and low-dimensional topology.
