On March 13, 2024, the Government of Canada announced the award recipients of the NSERC Graduate and Postgraduate scholarships. Two recipents are from the UBC Mathematics Department:

• Chi Hoi (Kyle) Yip - NSERC Canada Graduate Scholarships - Doctoral
• Nicholas Richardson - NSERC Postgraduate Scholarships - Doctoral

These awards recognize and support the next generation of research at UBC and across Canada.
