# Math 180: Section 102

## Annoucements

• Math 180 Practice Final Exam
Note that
• this practice exam is not exhaustive in coverage
• it may contain minor errors
• you should not form rigid expectations about the difficulty of the exam from the practice. Every year, students declare that the final was way harder than the practice exam... this is probably because one is written in an exam setting but the other isn't.
• Practice Exam
• Final Exam
150-minute Final Exam: DEC 8 2017 03:30 PM in MATH 100
The math department posts old exams, and volunteers post solutions.
Regular office hours end Dec 1.
Extra office hours: Dec 4, 5, 6 from 10:00–12:00 in MATH ANNEX 1102
• How to study for the final exam?
• Do all webwork, quizzes, workshops, written assignments and the midterm. The assessments in the course are similar to the final exam.
• Make a 5 page "cheat sheet" of everything you need to know including examples and concepts. Each day, condense your study notes into a shorter document until you have distilled the material down to a 1 page list of key points.
• Go to office hours and study with friends.
• Precalculus Algebra Assignment on WeBWorK
You should do this Precalculus Algebra assignment on WeBWorK in preparation for the final exam. Practice your algebra skills with the same dedication as anything else! It's not for marks, but you should do it anyway.
• Midterm Return
Electronic midterm return.
