We have posted past exams in the Problem set and Exams page.
The final exam will cover those sections from chapters 2-3 and 5-9 that we
lectured, see the Lecture summary page. It will have 7-8
problems, similar
to the 2012 exam.
- Old homework and lab assignments are placed in folders outside of my
office.

Office hours in the exam period: 2pm, Tue and Thu, April 9, 11, 16 and 18.
- For the final exam, one page of 2-sided cheat sheet and
a non-graphic non-programable calculator are allowed.

The due date of Homework 9 and Lab 5 is postponed by one week to April 3.

The final exam will take place on Friday April 19 at 3:30pm. Location

- An old midterm exam and its solutions are posted. Our midterm exam
will have the same format, and the normal forms on page 1 will
remain. But 2D flows like problem 3 will not in our exam.
- Extra office hour: Tuesday Feb 12 2pm-3pm.

- Midterm exam will take place on Wednesday Feb 13. It will cover
1D flows in chapters 2 and 3 only.

- The NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA) provide
summer research experience with stipend. If you are interersted in such oppurtunities in math, please visit
UBC MATH NSERC USRA page.
- Our TA installed XPPAUT on Windows 7 and had some difficulty. His
solution was to follow the Cygwin subsection of this older installation guide.
However, several of you had installed the Windows version successfully
following the current installation
guide.
