rules. A change to the Yes/No problem: it contains 10 questions, and no
justification is needed.
Sample:

Circle the correct answers. No justifications necessary.
(a) True or false ? 1+1 is always 2.
(b) True or false ? 1+1 is sometimes 3.
(c) True or false ? 1+1 could be 0 in an advanced algebra course such as
MATH 501.
 (Answers: True, false, True.)
For help, you can attend the TA office hour this afternoon
3:154:45pm,
or my office hour tomorrow 1:302:50pm.
Comments from TA for H1: I have corrected Problems 3,10,13 and 14 from the problem set.
Each
problem counts for 5 points and hence the total marks are given out of 20 points.

skipped. There will be 4 computation problems and one Yes/No problem. The
Yes/No problem will have 5 questions, and you need to give a onesentence
reason for each answer. For your preparation, practice 2 has been posted,
and practice MT1 will be posted.
