Path integrals and knot polynomials

We will discuss a combinatorial formalism of path integrals on knot diagrams, which originated from the classical Burau representation of braid groups and the consideration of random walks on knot diagrams. Many knot polynomials can be fitted into the frame work of such a combinatorial path integral.
