Some combinatorial problems associated with the study of convex bodies
Several classical problems in geometric
combinatorics, such as the Erdos distance problem, the
Szemeredi-Trotter incidence theorem, and others, have
found numerous applications in analysis and other
areas. We shall describe some recent applications in
the context of the analysis of convex sets in the
plane and higher dimensions.
