Nov 7: There will be a review session for Midterm 2 on Monday (Nov 10) 3:30-5:00pm at IBLC 182. The full location info is HERE.
Nov 6: The Midterm 2 is going to take place on November 12 (Wednesday). The time is from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. The location is MATX 1100 (Math Annex Building). If you went to wrong classroom for midterm 1, please make sure you get it right this time. For Midterm 2 you will be expected to know the material from the following sections: 3.7, 3.8, 3.9, 3.11, 4.1, 4.2,4.3, vertical asymptotes in 2.4, horizontal asymptotes in 2.5, and the online supplementary notes: Ch. 6.8, price elasticity of demand, continuous compound interest.

Two remarks regarding the midterm content announced on the Common Math 104/184 Webpage :
1. Section 2.3: you only need to know material up to the end of Quick Check 3 on p. 74 (so midterm does *not* cover The Squeeze Theorem, etc.)
2. Section 3.5: you only need to know the table of derivatives Theorem 3.13 on p. 167. (and use these in the context of product rule, quotient rule, etc -- as explained in class today).
