About 96% of all candidates earned at least some part marks on this question; 59% of all candidates got 6/8 or higher, whereas 22% scored 3/8 or lower.

Scaling: The official scores are slightly higher than the raw scores summarized above. Marks were raised slightly by adjusting the percentage values of the questions to increase the influence of the standard-skills questions numbered 1-10. This produced a median grade of 63%, with 34% of the candidates earning a score of 75% or higher, and 30% scoring below 50%. The remaining 36% of all candidates passed with percentage scores between 50% and 74%. This distribution matches the results from previous years very closely.
The top 29 students scored 90% or higher; the best score among the bottom 29 students was 33%. The highest score awarded was 99% (two students received this mark).
