Grading Schemes . Your grade will be computed based on the following formula:
1 Final Exam 50%
2 Two midterms 17% + 17% = 34%
3 Course-common WebWorks assignemts 10%
4 Quizzes 6%
Please note that grades may be scaled to ensure fairness across sections.
Quizzes: Quizzes are worth 6% of your grade; your worst quiz score will be ignored. Calculators are not allowed on quizzes. Quizzes will be based on the corresponding suggested problems from the text. The first three in-class 10–15 minute quizzes will be given on the following dates: Jan. 12, Jan. 19, Jan. 26.
