I am an associate professor in the mathematics department at The University of British Columbia. I have a broad interest in classical harmonic analysis and combinatorics. I'm especially interested in incidence geometry, the restriction and Kakeya problems, and sum-product phenomena. A copy of my CV can be found here

Supervision

I am always interested in supervising new students. More information on applying to UBC's mathematics graduate program can be found here.

Postdoctoral hiring at UBC is often done on a per research group basis. As a member of the discrete math and harmonic analysis research groups, I play a role in hiring postdocs for these two areas. If you would like to come to UBC for a postdoc, please email me. Applications for postdoctoral positions should be submitted through mathjobs.org, and are due November 15.
