The midterm will cover "Leah Keshet's course notes" from the
beginning of Chapter 1 up through the end of section 5 of Chapter 5. It
will also cover the "Homework problems collection" from the start of
Chapter 1 problems up through problem 5.10 from Chapter 5.

Tuesday November 10th: Lab #4 will be collected during Monday's class but those who need more time have until 3pm Tuesday to
turn it in to the Math Dept office to have them put it into my mailbox.
Midterm 2 will cover "Leah Keshet's course notes" from Chapter 5 up
through and including
Chapter 9. It
will also cover the "Homework problems collection" from
Chapter 5 through Chapter 9 inclusive. In particular this means that you
need to know how to do the problems from Chapter 9(Recommended problems are 9.5, 9.7, 9.9, 9.10, 9.11,
9.13, 9.18, 9.19). You also need to know
the derivatives of cos f(x) and sin f(x).
