They will be based on material of the preceding week (Wednesday till Monday). Our midterm will take place on July 23 (Wednesday), 4 – 5 pm. It will cover material taught on Monday, July 21 and before. Calculators are not allowed on quizzes and the midterm.

Missed Quizzes or Midterms: If a quiz is missed for a documented illness or other legitimate reason, it will be ignored, with other quizzes reweighted to compensate for the missed quiz. If you should miss the midterm for a valid reason, the 30% weight will be shifted onto the final exam. In all such cases, original written documentation, for example a doctor’s note or letter from a coach, is required; otherwise, a score of 0 will be assigned for the missed quiz or midterm.

Final Exam Schedule: The exam period for 2014S Term 2 runs from Tuesday, August 12th to Saturday, August 16th inclusive. Departmental Instruction: ALL students are responsible for being here during that entire period. They should only make plans AFTER they know their exam schedule. We will not assist students who do not respect the exam period and they will fail the course. The exam schedule should be available in late July.
