Outline

General

We will follow the sections in order as they appear on the course outline. There may be some omissions or added material. All added material will be done in all sections of the course.

Evaluation

Assignments - 20%

Term Tests - 30%

Final Exam - 50%

Assignments

Assignments will be given out every week or two.

Please write on the top of your assignment any other students that you worked with on the assignment.

Students are encouraged to work together in attempting the questions, however final solutions must be written up by yourself. No copying will be tolerated.

Assignments will be given out on the Assignment page. when they are available.

Midterm

The term tests will be held in class on October 22nd.

Calculators

No calculators are permitted on the midterm or final exam.

Academic Dishonesty

Cheating in any form will not be tolerated in this class. I will do everything I can to help guide you through this course, but anybody caught cheating will immediately lose any sympathy from me, and will be dealt with harshly. However, I'm sure nobody in this class is dishonest enough for this to be an issue.

Having calculators falls under this category.
