There will be a review in class on Tuesday July 26th.
There will not be extra office hours on Wednesday, however I can come in early on Thursday morning if it is requested.
Exam Info
The final exam covers everything in the lecture notes with the exception for section 3.5.2 (Fast Fourier Transform), 4.4 (Anderson's Tight Binding Model), 4.5.4 (Metropolis Algorithm) and 4.6 (Singular Value Decomposition). Some of these I may touch upon on the July 21st class, but they will not be on the exam.
You will be given a sheet of MatLab/Octave commands. The page that will be given is here
You will not be allowed any calculators, textbooks or notes. However a list of relevant formula that you should know can be found here
In the lecture notes at the beginning of each section there is a "What you should know after completing this section." That is a great place to start when determining if you are prepared for the final.
