Office Hours: The office hours are not in my office. Tuesday 1:30 to 2:30 Auditorium Annex Room 147 or 148, Fridays from 10:00 to 11:00 after the class, we can move to the lounge area. On Thursdays by appointment.

Midterm Dates: October 15th and Tuesday, and November 17th, same place same hour.
Missed Midterms: There are NO make-up midterms during the term. If you miss a midterm for a documented valid excuse (for example an illness which has been documented by a physician), the weight of that midterm will be transferred to the final exam. In any other circumstance a score of 0 will be given.
Calculators: Note that only one non-programmable, non-graphing calculator (e.g. the SHARP EL-510RB calculator) per student is permitted to be used during any quizzes or examinations. NO EXCEPTIONS. Back-up calculators will NOT be provided during examinations; it is the student's responsibility to ensure they have a working calculator for examinations. Calculators may not be shared .

Weekly Webwork Assignments:
  • Webwork Online Homework: Use your CWL to login to do your weekly on-line homework problem sets. Webwork homework is due at 11:59 p.m. on Mondays. Note that the intent of homework is to help you learn the material, and therefore it should be done as you are studying.


    The tutorial centre is going to be in the Auditorium Annex A, rooms 143-146.
