- As shown in the course outline, Section 1.5 Substitution is replaced by "Exact equations". We use Braun's book Section 1.9. You can download it from the "References" above.
- The 2nd homework assignment is posted. There are 8 problems covering Section 1.4 and the Exact equations. (The last two problems on Section 1.6 in the previous release has been moved to the 3rd assignment.)

David Logan (accessible from inside UBC or via VPN)**optional**: Elementary differential equations and boundary value problems, by W. E. Boyce and R. C. DiPrima, (a nice classical book, ANY version is fine)
