Tomorrow, Monday Aug 7 to next Friday August 18, Pacific Institute for Theoretical Physics, Pacific Institute for Mathematical Sciences, Perimeter Institute and Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics are hosting their annual Summer School on String Theory, Gravity and Cosmology. The School consists of several series of lectures intended as a pedagogical introduction to current research in this subject and aimed mainly at graduate students and postdoctoral researchers. This year it will take place on the UBC Campus in Room 202 of the Hennings Physics Building. Anyone who is interested in this event is absolutely welcome to attend lectures. A schedule and other details can be found at www.pims.math.ca/science/2006/06sssgc/
