These webpages were submitted as part of a project for Math 309: Topics in Geometry at the University of British Columbia. The instructor for the course is Professor William Casselman of UBC.

The goal of the project was to reproduce the class notes from the first week and a half of lectures and carefully explain the material. The emphasis of the course is the use of diagrams (that are technically accurate) to explain proofs and geometric ideas. The pictures were drawn using Ghostscript, and utilize the Postscript language.
