Welcome to my website !

My name is Steve Bennoun; I have recently finished my PhD in the department of mathematics at UBC where I worked with Hendryk Pfeiffer as well as Patrick Brosnan and Jim Carrell.
My research has been focusing on certain constructions with weak bialgebras and weak Hopf algebras and indirectly fusion categories (for more details look at the Math page).

As I am also very interested in teaching, I am conducting this term a study with David Steinberg and Sandra Merchant on the efficiency exam wrappers (check the Math Education page).
