INFORMATION ABOUT THE FINAL EXAM:
The 150-minute Math 221 final exam, common to all sections, will be held at 8:30 AM on Tuesday, 23 April 2013. The final exam will be based on the following material.

• Chapter 1, Sections 1.1-1.9
• Chapter 2, Sections 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.5 and 2.6
• Chapter 3, Sections 3.1 and 3.2
• Chapter 4, Sections 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 and 4.6
• Chapter 5, Sections 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.5 and 5.6. In section 5.2 omit "Orthonormal Sets" and subsequent material. In section 5.3 omit "Theorem 10" and subsequent material. In section 5.5 omit "Alternative Calculations of Least-Squares Solutions" and subsequent material.
