Grading
Your grade will be determined by the following formula:
Grade (100 %)
= Final exam (50 %) + Two midterm exams (40 %) + Homework (10 %).
Exam schedule
Midterm Exam I. Wednesday, Oct 2. Covers Chapters 1, 2, and 3.
Midterm Exam II. Friday, Nov 15. Covers Chapters 7 and 6.
Final Exam. Monday, Dec 9, 3:30 -- 6:00, OSBO A. Covers all topics.
You are allowed to bring one 8.5 inch by 11 inch cheat sheet. You
can write notes on both sides. I recommend you write the useful
trigonometric formulas.
We will provide a page of Laplace transforms.
No calculator is allowed.
Homework assignments
Graded homework is placed in a cardboard box outside my office
for one week for you to pick up. Afterwards unclaimed
homework is moved to a drawer of a file cabinet near my office.
