Teaching

Teaching is an important part of my academic aspiration. In the past I have taught differential calculus as an instructor as well as fluid mechanics as guest lecturer. In addition, I have been working UBC Access & Diversity Centre to help students with physical and mental disabilities in their math and physics courses. My most ambitious and exciting experience with A&D was to work with a blind student in her calculus course. I was the primary instructor for 1.5 years. Details of this experience should be published soon.

In terms of learning how to teach, I am currently participating in Certificate Program in Advanced Teaching and Learning.  I have also attended various workshops and meeting including mini-Conference on Graduate Students in TeachingInstructional Skill Workshop, Team-Based Learning and Mathematics Ally Skills Workshop.
