| Postdoctoral Fellowships in Probability |
| Applications are invited for one or more
postdoctoral fellowships in probability theory in the
Mathematics Department, University of British Columbia,
Vancouver, Canada.
The Department has a very active
probability
group, with permanent faculty in a wide variety of
areas.
Positions are for three years (subject to review each year), normally starting no later than September 1, 2013. Postdoctoral fellows have a low teaching load, and devote the majority of their time to research. Applicants should have recently obtained or expect to receive (before starting the postdoctoral position) a PhD in mathematics or closely related discipline, and should demonstrate excellent potential in research and teaching.
Applicants should apply on-line following the application instructions given for Postdoctoral Positions (note also the UBC-PIMS Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellowship) here. The deadline for receipt of applications is November 15, 2012. Applications received after this date may also be considered. |
