UBC Mathematics: MathNet FAQ [Lab Access]
UBC Mathematics: MathNet FAQ [Lab Access]
Question: How and when can I access these labs?
Author: Joseph Tam
Date: Jun 9, 2010
This is answered in another FAQ item:
Where are the computers labs located and what do they have?
but in general,
Public department labs are accessed using a card (which should
have been issued to you when you applied for a computer account).
They are accessible at all times to MathNet members.
Limited access labs (like the Auditorium Annex or the FluidLab)
are accessible by keys issued to members of the group authorised
to use these labs.
Undergraduate labs (in LSK) are open during school hours
(or longer) depending on the policy of that lab. Access is only
during those times the doors are unlocked.
