UBC Mathematics: MathNet FAQ [Edit My Profile]
Question: How do I update my profile on the Department Personnel web page?
Author: Joseph Tam
Date: Oct. 20, 2006
The Department's personnel web directory is located here:
http://www.math.ubc.ca/People/people.shtml
When you join the Department, an entry is made for you by the office
staff. If an entry has not been created, you can request an entry be made
by notifying the Office Receptionist.
The information that is included in your profile may be incorrect or
missing. You can update your personal profile information by logging in
to the MathNet User
Services site. A link can also be found in the "Other Links" section at
the left side of most web pages.
The login page will ask for for your username and password. Once you've
properly authenticated yourself, you can edit your personal profile information
as one of the menu options. You can enter information such as
- Your name(s).
- The Email address that your Email address will link on the personnel
web page will use.
- Your office location and phone.
- The web page that your name will link to on the personnel web page.
- A photo link.
- Additional private contact information (e.g. residential address and
cell or home phone number). This information will not be
displayed on our public pages, but may be obtained from the
MathNet User Services web pages by other department users.
- Set Email forwarding or vacation auto-replies.
