Archimedes Talks will be held at the Irving Barber Learning Centre (1961 East Mall) room 261.
These buses will drop you off on University Boulevard, after the big steel UBC sign. Continue walking down University Boulevard towards the pedestrian area, and take a right after the Robert Lee Alumni Centre. You'll see a large open courtyard in front of the AMS Nest. Shortly after the courtyard on the left is the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre.
If you enter from the patio, Room 261 is around the corner to the right.
Other buses will drop you along Westbrook Mall, or Student Union Boulevard.
To find Student Union Boulevard from Westbrook Mall, don't cross the street after getting off the bus; if Westbrook Mall is to your right, Student Union Boulevard is right ahead of you. You will probably see other buses parked there.
Follow Student Union Boulevard away from Westbrook Mall towards the park-like area with trees. On the other side of the trees is the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre. Go in the entrance facing the trees, and up the stairs. Room 261 is on the left.
The North Parkade is the nearest parking garage, 6115 Student Union Boulevard. This is also a convenient location for dropping students off.
From the parking garage, you will see a park-like area with lots of trees. Just on the other side of the trees is the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre. Go in the entrance facing the trees, and up the stairs. Room 261 is on the left.
