What is this project about?

In this project, I would like to discuss Newton's Principia, Proposition IV Problem II. There will be three parts in this project. In Part I, I will state the proposition and some related propositions and corollaries. In Part II, I will give a brief historical background of the Principia, Book II. In Part III, I will explain Proposition IV Problem II.
